MetaMask—snap_accounts_[beta]—(web_extension).
I designed the user flow and interface for installing and managing Snap-based accounts in the MetaMask browser extension. The experience guides users through creating a new Snap account, naming it, and adding it to their wallet.
Snap accounts are distinguished from EOAs and hardware wallets, and ensure the flow aligns with MetaMask’s existing patterns while supporting the unique logic of Snaps.
This work aimed to make the integration of new account types without disrupting the familiar MetaMask experience.

This redesign emphasized visual hierarchy, reducing friction between information and action while maintaining a clean, modular structure ready for scale across assets.
Bitso—price_widget—(mobile).
I designed a crypto price widget for iOS at Bitso, focused on helping users effortlessly track real-time crypto prices in their local currency. The goal was to deliver key market info at a glance—right from the home screen—making it easy for users in Latin America to stay connected to price movements without opening the app.
The small widget shows the current price of a selected crypto asset (e.g., BTC, ETH) in the user’s local currency (MXN, ARS, COP, etc.), along with the daily % change.
Design elements include:
This widget was designed with accessibility, localization, and low cognitive load in mind, making it an intuitive tool for users to stay up to date on market movements in their native currency.

Design elements include:
- Dynamic color that adapts to the device's theme (light and dark).
- Clean, legible typography optimized for glances.
- System-native rounded cards for a seamless iOS look.
- Tap action linking directly to the corresponding asset screen in the Bitso app.
This widget was designed with accessibility, localization, and low cognitive load in mind, making it an intuitive tool for users to stay up to date on market movements in their native currency.
Bitso—app_3.0—(mobile).
This project focused on redesigning the mobile experience for Bitso as the product evolved from a crypto trading app into a broader financial platform. Earlier versions of the app relied on deep, monolithic navigation and the assumption that users primarily interacted with crypto markets.
Key contributions:
The redesign launched as Bitso App 3.0 and significantly improved product metrics, including higher activation, retention, and revenue per user.
Key contributions:
-
Led the redesign of the mobile app’s information architecture and navigation to support Bitso’s expansion into fiat products and new financial services.
-
Replaced a deep monolithic navigation with a tab-based structure to improve feature discoverability and scalability.
-
Organized the experience around core user actions such as holding assets, converting currencies, and tracking activity.
-
Conducted collaborative workshops, prototyping, and user testing to validate the new structure.
The redesign launched as Bitso App 3.0 and significantly improved product metrics, including higher activation, retention, and revenue per user.
After the redesign, we ran an experiment to increase conversion rates by improving asset discoverability in the crypto tab introduced in App 3.0. The previous layout made it difficult to read asset names, prices, and percentage changes.
I redesigned a new tab version with a clearer list layout, making cryptocurrencies and their price variations easier to scan.
Bitso—conversions_&_DCA—(mobile_&_web).
I designed an enhanced crypto conversion experience at Bitso that simplifies complex multi-asset swaps into a seamless, transparent flow. The goal was to abstract away technical complexity while giving users complete clarity and control over their trades.
Key features include:
The design focused on trust, simplicity, and reducing friction for both beginner and advanced users—turning what used to be a manual, multi-step process into a single, intuitive experience.
Key features include:
- Multi-hop swap resolution, automatically routing through available markets to complete conversions between assets with no direct trading pair—reducing steps, time, and fees.
- A guaranteed price quote held for at least 1 minute, giving users confidence and time to review before confirming.
- A clear breakdown of what you pay and what you receive, with no hidden fees and upfront transparency.
- Support for recurring conversions (DCA), allowing users to automate their crypto purchases at set intervals.
The design focused on trust, simplicity, and reducing friction for both beginner and advanced users—turning what used to be a manual, multi-step process into a single, intuitive experience.
Since the DCA feature was only available on mobile, the web version focuses on converting assets (multi-hop swaps), prioritizing clarity and speed for users—turning what used to be a manual, multi-step process into a single, intuitive experience.
Bitso—deposits_&_withdrawals—(mobile_&_web).
I redesigned Bitso’s deposit and withdrawal screens to reduce user errors, clarify money movement options, and improve the overall experience of moving funds in and out of the platform.
The new design includes:
This redesign focused on reducing cognitive load, minimizing costly mistakes, and making money movement across fiat and crypto simple, secure, and transparent.
The new design includes:
- All the essential information up front to send or receive crypto confidently. Address, tags/memos, and network selection guidance to prevent loss of funds.
- Clear warnings and contextual validation to help users avoid selecting the wrong blockchain or missing critical steps when transferring assets.
- A new channel-based categorization system that organizes available deposit and withdrawal methods into intuitive groups:
- Bank transfers, categorized by supported fiat currencies (MXN, USD, ARS).
- Blockchains, like Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Litecoin, with clearly indicated network details
- Bitso Transfer, the internal system for instant, fee-free user-to-user transactions.
- Bank transfers, categorized by supported fiat currencies (MXN, USD, ARS).
This redesign focused on reducing cognitive load, minimizing costly mistakes, and making money movement across fiat and crypto simple, secure, and transparent.
On web, withdrawals followed the same up-front relevant information, warnings, and contextual validation, as well as the channel-based categorization system.
Tandem—platform_redesign—(web).
In 2019, I led multiple redesign iterations of Tandem’s web platform, a procurement tool for small-to-medium businesses that connected buyers and sellers in a single workflow.
Key points:

- Simplified complex processes that previously required manual steps and constant context switching.
- Designed a more accessible solution in a space dominated by enterprise-focused and expensive procurement software.
- Redesigned buyer–seller journeys, streamlined order creation, and organized product and pricing management into clearer, connected views.
GBM—GBMhomebroker—(web).
GBMhomebroker is a trading platform designed for active stock traders and one of the most successful digital products developed within GBM since 2011. The platform serves two types of users: a Basic version for new or low-frequency investors and a PRO version built for experienced traders who require speed, data visibility, and customizable tools.
An initial product audit and user interviews revealed major usability issues. The platform’s navigation and layout were confusing, making it difficult for users to quickly access the tools and information needed to execute trades.
Key contributions

GBM—Investify_MVP—(web).
Investify was an investment platform designed to help young Mexicans start investing without prior financial knowledge. In Mexico, access to investment products has historically been limited: despite millions of internet users, only a small fraction of the population holds investment accounts. The project aimed to lower the barriers to entry—simplifying financial concepts, reducing complexity, and building trust for first-time investors.
I joined the project at an early stage within GBM’s startup-like innovation team and was responsible for designing the product from the ground up, ensuring that every design decision aligned with both user needs and business goals.
Key contributions
The result was a product designed to demystify investing—helping young users build financial confidence and take their first steps toward long-term wealth.
